Teammate Jarrett Allen praised Barclays Center security for their quick action.
“I was confused at first. I saw him running towards Don and I took a step towards him. But there’s great security at Barclays Center,” he said. “I call out to them, they took care of it. When he left the field, his feet were not touching the ground. They carried him out of the building.”
The fate of the fan was not immediately clear, but future visits to the Barclays Center may not be in the cards for him.

Mitchell and the Cavs finished the night with a 131-124 victory against the Nets. Mitchell scored 35 points, and Allen and Sam Merrill scored 22 points each.
