Trump claims Iran has surrendered to Middle East neighbours; Israeli strikes hit Beirut
US President Donald Trump said in a post on Truth Social that Iran “apologized and surrendered” to its US-allied neighbors that it attacked. [Iran] “Today is very difficult.”
Trump said Iran was “beaten to hell” and “promised not to fire on them anymore.”
“This promise was made only because of the relentless attack of the USA and Israel. They wanted to take over and rule the Middle East,” he wrote.
“For the first time in thousands of years, Iran is losing to the surrounding Middle Eastern countries.”
Trump later claimed that the countries thanked him personally, telling them “You’re welcome!” he said.
“Iran is no longer the ‘Tyrant of the Middle East’, it is the ‘Loser of the Middle East’ and will remain so for decades until it surrenders or, more likely, completely collapses!”
Trump ended his post by announcing that Iran “will be hit very hard.” Today.
“Due to Iran’s bad behavior, the complete destruction and certain death of areas and groups of people not previously considered to be targeted is being seriously considered.”
