Trump Cornered on Cashing In on Jaw-Dropping Show of Disrespect

President Donald Trump lashed out at a reporter after he was pressured to turn his already controversial appearance on an honorable transfer into a pitch for cash.

The 79-year-old president was criticized for using a photo of himself wearing a Trump merch hat while saluting the coffin of a soldier killed in his war against Iran to raise cash for his own campaign.

On Sunday, a reporter pressed Trump about his fundraising email as he drove back from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, where the warmongering president spent the weekend.

“Your PAC released a fundraising email a few days ago and is being criticized for using your official White House photos during the dignified transfer,” the female reporter began, before interrupting Trump.

The Commander-in-Chief said, “Unlike many people, I was on an honorable transfer.”

“Do you think this is an appropriate email to send?” the reporter pressed.

“Yes, I see it,” Trump replied, before retreating to his usual escape hatch: “I didn’t. So someone hung him. We have a lot of people working for us.”

“There is no one better for the military than me,” he continued. Trump was re-elected on a platform of “no new wars” but abandoned that promise more than two weeks ago when he attacked Iran, starting a war that has claimed the lives of at least 13 US soldiers.

“All you have to do is look at the election results,” Trump added, falsely claiming that no president has had such a high approval rating.

He lost his cool as the reporter continued to question him.

“Who are you with? Who are you with?” he repeated and the reporter said he was from ABC News.

“One of the worst, most fake, most corrupt [what did he say]” he fumed. “I think these are the most corrupt news organizations on the planet. I think they suck. “I don’t want anything from ABC anymore.”

Trump faced condemnation from across the political spectrum last week after becoming the first president in history to don a baseball cap for an honorable transfer; Moreover, this hat was from his own collection.

In a hastily designed email to supporters on Friday, Trump used an image of the transfer to promote a special group of newsletters that receive “national security briefings.”

“For the first time, I’m opening a slot in the National Security Briefing Membership,” his message reads. “TAKE YOUR PLACE. THERE ARE VERY LOW SPACE LEFT!”

The email directs supporters to a website for Never Surrender Inc. and asks them to contribute $1,000 or more to support the “MAGA agenda.”
