Trump Drops Greenland Tariff Threat, Cites NATO Arctic Deal

Davos: President Trump announced Wednesday that he is canceling planned tariffs on U.S. allies in Europe regarding control of Greenland. This decision was taken after the President and the NATO leader agreed on a “framework for a future agreement” on Arctic security.
The move was described as a “sudden turnaround” that came hours after Trump had previously insisted on taking ownership of the island.
