Cop Sobs as She and Husband Charged with Repeatedly Raping Teen Boy They Took In
A Massachusetts police officer was reportedly seen crying in court after she and her husband were accused of repeatedly raping a teenage boy they took into their home.
Plymouth Police Officer Samantha Pelrine and her husband, Daniel ForandHe was arrested shortly after being suspended from work on March 17.
The couple were accused of abusing the 12-year-old victim after she moved in with them in 2019.
Pelrine, 31, was arraigned on several charges, including three felonies of aggravated rape of a child by force and aggravated statutory rape of a child. Forand, 37, meanwhile, was hit with 20 charges, including rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a person 14 years of age or older, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

During the hearing, prosecutors requested that the defendants be released on $250,000 bail. Prosecutors alleged that Pelrine and Forand abused the boy when he was 14 and continued to do so for several years.

The judge ultimately set $10,000 cash bail for Pelrine, while Forand was given $25,000 cash bail.
According to the press, both Pelrine and Forand denied the accusations against them. If convicted, they face a statutory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.

While the couple took the 12-year-old boy in and became his legal guardian, allegations of sexual and physical abuse began soon after, according to the documents.
The victim alleged that Pelrine and Forand “sexually assaulted me until 2025 and physically assaulted me until 2026.”
“They are looking for me and I fear for my safety,” the victim added, according to her statement.
