Trump is seen wearing thick make-up to cover up bruising on his hand during Davos conference amid continuing speculation over his health

Donald Trump was seen applying heavy make-up to his hands to cover up serious bruises sustained during the World Economic Forum today.
The bruise was seen on the left hand of the US President, who attended the ‘Peace Board’ meeting at the annual meeting of global business and political leaders in Davos, Switzerland.
A large purple mark was visible on the upper part of his hand, near his thumb and index fingers.
But when Mr Trump met with Volodymyr Zelensky just an hour later, a thick layer of makeup could be seen hiding the bruise on his hand.
Rumors of his apparent ill health had been circulating for a long time. In September, the Republican President was seen wearing a large piece of what appeared to be a foundation on his right hand as he departed Washington for an official state visit to the United Kingdom.
While officials claimed that Trump was diagnosed with ‘chronic venous insufficiency’ over the summer, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt added that the bruising on Trump’s hand was ‘consistent’ with irritation from ‘frequent handshakes and aspirin use’.
But that doesn’t explain what kind of bruise the right-handed leader had on his left hand.
After the photos were published, a social media commentator said: ‘If there is a problem with the President’s health, the public needs to know about it.’

The Daily Mail has contacted the White House for comment.
In August, a large bruise on Mr. Trump’s right hand was revealed during a meeting with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung in the Oval Office.
He was similarly bruised while on a golf outing with Roger Clemens, the former Major League pitcher whom Mr. Trump later vouched for a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
This followed another incident in which many noticed that the president’s hand was covered in a visible smear of makeup that did not match his skin tone.
Mr Trump claimed he ‘performed well’ at his physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center last April, where he underwent extensive testing, including a cognitive assessment.
The examination, performed by the president’s new doctor, Dr Sean Barbabella, lasted approximately five hours.
Leavitt also revealed that the president “noticed slight swelling in the lower part of his legs” last July and was evaluated by the White House medical unit.

Leavitt said he was subjected to a ‘comprehensive examination’ that included ‘diagnostic vascular studies’.
“Bilateral lower extremity ultrasounds were performed and revealed chronic venous insufficiency,” Leavitt said.
He said this was a ‘common condition’ in individuals over the age of 70 and there was ‘no evidence’ of deep vein thrombosis or artery disease.
Overall, Leavitt said, “The president is in excellent health.”
Mr. Trump has a history of optimistic health reports, including an alleged perfect score on a cognitive test in 2018.
