Trump launches Christmas ISIS strikes on ‘terrorist scum’ | US | News

US President Donald Trump said he launched a Christmas Day attack on “ISIS terrorist scum” in Nigeria, wishing happy holidays “to everyone, including the dead terrorists.”
Trump took to Truth Social to announce the news on Thursday, December 25, and called the campaign a success, noting that the US had carried out a series of attacks.
He wrote: “Tonight, at my direction as Commander in Chief, the United States launched a powerful and lethal offensive against the ISIS Terrorist Scum in Northwest Nigeria, primarily targeting and brutally killing innocent Christians, at levels not seen in many years, even centuries!
“I had previously warned these Terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughter of Christians there would be hell to pay, and that happened tonight,” he continued.
“The War Department carried out many excellent strikes as only the United States could.”
“Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to flourish. God bless our Army and I wish HAPPY EID to all, including the deceased Terrorists, of whom there will be many more if the massacres against Christians continue,” he said.
