US President Donald Trump is set to make remarks at the Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony amid his ongoing feud with the BBC.

He will give a speech at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday and also push for the reopening of the U.S. government after a long shutdown.

On Monday, Mr Trump threatened to sue the BBC for $1 billion after the BBC apologized for editing one of his speeches.

The added edit showed a speech Mr. Trump gave before the 2021 Capitol riot; this included a clip in which he told his supporters to “fight like hell.”

The president gave the BBC until Friday to retract the clip, apologize and be “appropriately compensated”.
