Trump deciding trade deals by August 1: Lutnick

Even if US President Donald Trump continues separate negotiations with China and the European Union, this week will take the trade agreement decisions, before the last date of Trump, the US Trade Chief Howard Lutnick.

The US and EU officials discussed the arrangements of steel and aluminum tariffs and digital services after the frameworks announced on Sunday, and in an interview, Lutnick said that the talks with China were “their own things”.

“But we will do things until Friday for the rest of the world,” he said in the interview.

Asked about the uncertainties surrounding the US-EU agreement, Lutnick said Trump is working “to do things now”.

Authority said that drugs are an important part of the EU agreement, so that the drugs made in EU member states – hosting several major drug producers – their products will be included in the tariff of 15 percent.

“It was important for the pharmaceuticals to be part of the agreement in 15 percent because President Trump will come out with the drug policy in the next two weeks and will be higher.” He said.

South Africa said in a statement on Tuesday, a 30 percent tariff in the US exports before Friday began on Friday, a trade agreement with the United States wants to negotiate.

The South African government is closely about the US administration and negotiations before the last date of August 1, because the relationship between the two countries has worsened the inner race policy of South Africa and the genocide against Israel rejected by Israel.

The Ministry of Commerce said in a statement that he still expects “important feedback in the final status of our US colleagues in our framework agreement”.
