Trump meets with defense CEOs, Pete Hegseth

President Donald Trump met with CEOs of major defense industry companies at the White House on Friday afternoon as the war against Iran wraps up its first week.

Following the meeting, Trump said in a social media post, “We discussed Manufacturing and Production Schedules” and “agreed to quadruple Production of ‘Exquisite Grade’ Weapons as we want to achieve the highest quantity levels as quickly as possible.”

Trump did not explain what he meant by “Perfect Class Weapons.” This term is used to describe one-of-a-kind technologies or systems in the defense industry.

Trump said CEOs were also included in the meeting BAE Systems, LockheedMartin, Northrop Grumman, RTX Company, Boeing’s, Honeywell’s Aviation and L3Harris Technologies‘ Missile Solutions.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also attended the meeting.

“The expansion began three months before the meeting, and the Facilities and Production of many of these Weapons are already underway,” Trump told Truth Social. he said.

“We have an almost unlimited supply of Middle and Upper Intermediate Class Munitions, which we have used as an example in Iran and have recently used in Venezuela. But regardless, we have also increased Orders at these levels,” the President said.

“Lockheed Martin has agreed to quadruple its production of critical munitions,” Lockheed Martin said in a statement.

“As a result of President Trump’s leadership, we began this work with Secretary Hegseth and the Deputy Secretary months ago. [Steve] We are committed to working with Feinberg and our industry partners to further strengthen the U.S. military’s unique capability to deliver the largest munitions in the world. We are acting with urgency and we will make it happen,” Lockheed Martin said.

“The US military has more than enough stockpiles of ammunition, ammunition and weapons to continue to destroy the Iranian regime and achieve the objectives of Operation Epic Rage,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement before the closed-door meeting. he said.

The White House went on the defensive after news reports detailed concerns that supplies of both munitions and anti-missile defense systems would decrease if the Iran war continued.

“Yet President Trump has always been intensely focused on strengthening our military, which is why this meeting with defense contractors was planned weeks ago,” Leavitt said. he said.

“The President will continue to call on these U.S. companies to produce American-made weapons, the best in the world, faster,” he said.
