Nottingham attacks victim Grace O’Malley-Kumar awarded George Medal

On June 13, 2023, Mrs. O’Malley-Kumar tried to defend the 19-year-old Barnaby Webber because they were deadly stabbed by paranoid schizophrenic Valocane.
One of the 20 buyers of the Civil Gallantry awards and one of the four people was awarded after his death.
On Monday, Mrs. O’Malley -Kumar’s mother, Dr. Sinead O’Malley – “He is a very extraordinary human and Grace will fall into history books.”
He added that the award was “how a brave and wonderful girl to the country, how creative it is”.
Uz We are extremely proud of him, so he was incredibly brave despite his youth for years, Dr Dr O’malley said.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer paid a tribute to all buyers, including Mrs. O’Malley-Kumar, whom she said that she made a final sacrifice to protect her friend and that her heritage would live as a “strong example of heroism”.
Sir Keir: “True courage seems like this.
“In moments of imaginary danger, these extraordinary people acted with devotion and courageously speaking to the best of who we were as a nation.
“We owe our deepest thanks to each – and their families.
“The actions remind us of the power and compassion passing through our communities.”
Family noteGeorge Medal The second highest civil courage prize after the UK’s George Cross is given to “not in the presence of the enemy, not in the presence of the enemy”.
In order to be given after death, a relative should join the Buckingham Palace, where the king or another royal himself presented the medal himself.
Awards are given to people by recognizing their courage and courage in the face of danger.

The students of Nottingham University, Mrs. O’Malley-Kumar and Somperset from East London, Mr Webber from Taunton, was stabbed to the Student accommodation after one night after the end of the period.

Mr. Khalil told the court that Ms. O’Malley-Kumar’s injuries were very violent and Mr. Webber collapsed while trying to defend himself from the ground by throwing his attacker before he was calm.
Calocane continued to kill the 65 -year -old school guard Ian Coates, who recently launched the Vauxhall minibus when he was stabbed over and over again.

Mrs. O’Malley-Kumar’s reference writes: “Grace O’Malley-Kumar was approaching a student stay with his friend Barnaby Webber and Notingham when he was approached by a large knife man.
“He made a sudden attack on Barnaby and led to elegance to intervene to restrict the attacker to stop the attack.
“This led the attacker to attack the grace with a knife that continued to fight the attacker until he fell into a place that had fell into a place that suffered more than one injury.
“Tragically, Grace and Barnaby died as a result of their injuries from the attack.
“Grace’s extraordinary courage in the face of extreme danger serves as an extraordinary example of personal courage.”
