Trump Pentagon is ‘thinking’ about taking equity stakes in defense contractors, says Lutnick

Trump administration military leaders think whether the US will receive self -shares in the best defense contractors ” Lockheed MartinTrade Secretary Howard Lotnick said on Tuesday.
The cabinet secretary announced the interest of the government to receive these stocks in the CNBC “Squawk Box” day after the government purchased 10% of the US government with an agreement of approximately 9 billion dollars.
Lutnick was asked to repeat this movement with other companies doing business with the government.
“Oh, there’s a terrible debate about the defense,” Lutnick replied.
Lockheed, who made most of his revenues from federal conventions, said, “Basically a branch of the US government.”
“But what is the economy of this? I will leave this to the defense secretary and the Deputy Secretary of Defense Secretary.”
