Trump postpones strikes on power plants, says Iran wants to make a deal; Iranian speaker labels talks ‘fake news’; fuel rationing becomes possibility
Following his social media post about postponing attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure, US President Donald Trump told reporters in Palm Beach that Iran wants to “make a deal.”
“We also want to make a deal,” he said.
He claimed that the US could blow up Iran’s largest power generation facilities “with one shot”.
“Why would they want that? That’s why they called, I didn’t call. They called. They want to make a deal, and we’re very ready to make a deal,” Trump said.
“There must be a good agreement and no more wars, no more nuclear weapons. They will no longer have nuclear weapons. They accept that. None of this, no agreement.”
