Donald Trump ignored that Ukraine withdrawn Crimea, while increasing the pressure in Volodymyr Zelensky hours before meeting with European leaders in Washington. US President Ukraine claimed that his colleague could end the war in Ukraine, he added that he would not be allowed to join NATO in NATO or that he would not be allowed to take back the Crimean Peninsula, an illegal annexed by Russia in 2014.

European officials said the Russian leader explained to Mr. Trump that Ukraine wanted Donbas to give up Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
The President of the Ukrainian insisted that he had to “peace” in any agreement to end the war.
In X, he said: “Years ago, Ukraine has not had to give up the Crimea, but a part of Donbas – and Putin used it as a jumpboard for a new attack. Or in 1994, when it was called ‘security guarantees’, they did not work.
“Of course, the Crimea should not be abandoned at that time, just like the Ukrainians did not give up after 2022 Kiev, Odessa or Kharkiv.”
He previously announced that the Ukrainian Constitution to journalists in Brussels has made it impossible to “give up the region or quit trade land”.
Mr. Zelensky said he had previously wanted Ukraine to take the Crimea back and that the Black Sea Peninsula would refuse to recognize Russian control in a peace agreement.
Ukraine President and Sir Keir Starmer and other European leaders, including France’s Emmanuel Macron, will meet with Mr. Trump in the White House for negotiations to end the conflict.
Regional concessions are expected to rule the meeting.
