Trump says he thinks Putin is helping Iran

President Donald Trump said Friday that he believes Russian leader Vladimir Putin is aiding Iran in its war against the United States and Israel.

Trump’s comment came in a radio interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade and comes a week after the president lashed out at Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, who asked him if Russia was aiding Iran.

Kilmeade asked Trump, “Do you think Putin is helping them?” he asked.

“I think it could help them a little bit, yeah,” Trump responded.

“I think, and he probably thinks we’re helping Ukraine, right?” Trump continued.
