Trump says he will try to get back territory for Ukraine

US President Donald Trump said he would try to get back a region for Ukraine during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday.
“Russia occupied a large part of Ukraine. They occupied the Prime region. We will try to get some of this region back for Ukraine.”
Trump said that the talks in Alaska would be a “feeling meeting” aiming to call Putin to end the war, and “a little exchange, changes in the field”.
For the first time, he did not use the phrase “black plug”, but it is unclear how much Russia could be in Ukraine.. Kyiv never claimed to any Russian region.
He added that if Putin proposes a “fair agreement” during the Putin talks, he would update European leaders and talk to Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky with his first “disrespect”.
“I will call him first … Then I will call him and say ‘very luck, keep fighting’ or ‘we can make an agreement’ he said.
Trump also said that he and Zelensky “live”, “he did not participate very seriously with his actions”. Trump previously accused Zelensky for the war in Ukraine, which was fired by Russia’s full -scale occupation in February 2022.
The US President announced the meeting with Putin last Friday – the deadline of self -imposing itself for Russia to accept the ceasefire or to face more US sanctions.
In response to the news of the Alaska Summit, Zelensky said that any agreement without entering Kiev would be “dead decisions”.
