President Donald Trump warned Britain and France that “the United States will no longer be there to help you” as he expressed disappointment at the close allies’ refusal to join military action against Iran.
Sharing on Truth SocialTrump said, “The country of France does not allow planes going to Israel loaded with military supplies to fly over French territory.”
“France WAS VERY HELPING with the “Butcher of Iran” who was successfully eliminated! USA WILL REMEMBER!!!” he wrote in a post on Tuesday. he said.
In another post, the president singled out Britain for criticism.
“For all the countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the UK, which refuses to be involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you: No. 1, buy it from the US, we have plenty of it, and No. 2, gather your overdue courage, go to the Strait and just BUY it,” he commented.
“You’re going to have to start learning how to fight for yourself. The United States won’t be there to help you anymore, any more than you are on our side. Iran has been decimated. The hard part is done. Go get your own oil!” ” he concluded his words.
Trump expressed his disdain for European allies who refuse to join the US and Israel’s military operation against Iran, and in particular their reluctance to become involved in potentially highly dangerous efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to international shipping.
The sea passage has been almost completely closed by Iran, restricting the global supply of oil and gas shipped through the strait, and many tankers have been attacked by Iran in their attempts to navigate the Iranian-controlled sea route.
Trump has criticized NATO allies for not helping the United States and told reporters last week that he thought the military alliance “made a very stupid mistake.” I’ve been saying this for a long time, I wonder whether NATO will be on our side. So… this was a great test, Because we don’t need them, but they should have been there,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.
