Trump TURNS on Pam Bondi and backs his ‘Ice Queen’s’ scathing assessment of her over what he sees as ‘multiple failures’

President Donald Trump was filing complaints against Attorney General Pam Bondi over her derailment of high-profile investigations and her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
The Wall Street Journal reported Monday Trump’s complaints point to Bondi’s failure to prosecute the president’s longtime political enemies, including former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Trump also reportedly backed Chief of Staff Susie Wiles’ assessment that Bondi was ‘blaspheming’ the Epstein files; Wiles told Vanity Fair in the magazine’s controversial cover story last month.
Steve Bannon, Trump’s longtime political ally, told the newspaper that Bondi “bleeds support” and had let down both the president and “President Trump’s most loyal troops.”
“The public is eager for action, and they haven’t seen it yet,” Bannon continued, pointing to how Trump’s base wants to see investigations into the 2020 election, which Trump continues to falsely claim he won, and the 2016 Russia investigation, which Trump believes is an effort by Democrats to derail his first term.
The White House was quick to defend the attorney general, sending the Daily Mail quotes from the president, vice president Wiles, press secretary Karoline Leavitt and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Rubio, Wiles and Bondi cut their teeth in Florida politics.
‘Pam does an excellent job. He has been a friend of mine for many years. In the statement made by Trump, it was stated that tremendous progress has been made against radical left crazies who are good at only one thing: election fraud and the crimes they commit.

President Donald Trump speaks to reporters aboard Air Force One Sunday night. Trump wants Justice Department to conduct series of political investigations
While the attorney general is chosen by the president, the Justice Department is supposed to maintain some independence from the White House, but Trump has forced Bondi to blur that line.
Trump’s criticisms are part of the president’s intense campaign to pressure the Justice Department to more aggressively pursue his agenda, the Journal reported.
A lawsuit was filed against Comey, who caused trouble for the President during the Russia investigation, and James, who filed a major fraud case against Trump’s company, but a judge dismissed these cases in November.
The judge ruled that Trump’s former personal attorney, Lindsey Halligan, who the president appointed as acting U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia in September, was improperly appointed.
Trump has pushed for the trials to continue.
The Journal reported that Trump has tapped allies to appoint special advisers to the Justice Department to speed up the department’s work.
On Sunday night, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell confirmed that the Justice Department was investigating him.
Despite appointing Powell in his first term, Trump badmouthed the Fed Chairman for months and expressed concern that Powell was not doing more to lower interest rates, which could support the president’s economy.
In a Vanity Fair interview published last month, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said Attorney General Pam Bondi was ‘breathing in’ the Epstein files

The newspaper also reported that Trump has frequently complained about Bondi’s handling of the Epstein files, which has caused the president a trickle of political trouble since returning to office.
While some of the problems were of Trump’s own making — he had promised to release the full dossiers during the 2024 campaign — Bondi provided new information by distributing files of already public documents to influential figures in February.
‘I think he thoroughly enjoyed appreciating that he was the target group that cared about this.’ Wiles talked about Bondi in Vanity Fair. ‘First he gave them files full of nothing. He then said that the witness list or the client list was on his desk.’
“There’s no customer list, and it’s certainly not on his desk,” Wiles said.
Trump has continued to complain about Bondi’s role in the story since a bipartisan group of lawmakers pushed for the release of the Epstein files, but Bondi was nice to him when they were together in public, the Journal said.
Both Trump and Bondi attended the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony last month.
At the same time, Bondi was not, for example, at the Mar-a-Lago press conference Trump held in Florida earlier this month to announce the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, despite heavy intervention by the Justice Department.
Trump grew to dislike Attorneys General Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr, the AG’s first-term picks.
The President became angry with Sessions and fired him, prompting Sessions to recuse himself from the Russia investigation and Sessions’ deputy, Rod Rosenstein, appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller to prosecute the case.
Trump’s split with Barr came after the AG told The Associated Press after the 2020 election that there was no evidence of widespread fraud, as the president had alleged.
Barr resigned shortly after.
