Trump White House Reportedly Blocking Intelligence Report Warning of Homeland Security Threats in Midst of Iran War

The Trump White House allegedly blocked US intelligence agencies from warning Americans about increasing terrorist threats at home. According to a report From Daily Mail.
“The FBI, Homeland Security and the National Counterterrorism Center were preparing to issue a joint intelligence statement to state and local officials on Friday warning them of an increased threat from the ongoing war in Iran,” the Daily Mail quoted a senior Department of Homeland Security official as saying.
The five-page statement is titled “Public Safety Awareness Report: Increased threat to the United States during the US-Iran conflict” and details “the Iranian government’s increasing threats to US military and government personnel and facilities, Jewish and Israeli institutions and their perceived supporters, and Iranian dissidents and other anti-regime activists in the United States,” according to the report.
The report said, “Homeland Security broke protocol and notified the White House hours before the nationwide bulletin was to be published,” and continued: “Senior Trump officials ordered the bulletin to be placed on ‘hold’. In its statement to the Daily Mail, the White House did not deny that the terrorist bulletin was blocked.”
White House spokesman Abigail Jackson In response to the report, he said: “The White House is working closely with all government agencies to ensure that information disseminated is accurate, current, and appropriately reviewed – even if that means devoting additional time to review to ensure nothing is done in a vacuum.”
