It turns out that the most aggressive follow-up question on Air Force One came from the bathroom door.
On Tuesday, a mid-flight press rant aboard Air Force One became unexpectedly chaotic and instantly viral when the bathroom door behind President Donald Trump suddenly opened and slammed into him mid-sentence, causing the president to stop, turn, and deadpan: “Hello. There’s someone inside. Get out!”
Members of the press burst into laughter and briefly drowned out the briefing as the unidentified person pulled the door open and refused to come out again.
Moments after mocking a microphone-wielding reporter, Trump was responding to a question: “You’re going to have to be careful with this thing. It’s a government plane, but I want to take care of it.”

Before he could continue, the toilet door opened at the wrong moment. A startled, unidentified officer bumped the president’s shoulder and slammed the door so hard he nearly got stuck.
Trump grinned before knocking on the bathroom door and shouting, “Hello. There’s someone in there. Come out!”
Staff remained inside for the remainder of the briefing.
When the room calmed down, Trump went straight back to politics, addressing a question about health savings accounts and health insurance reform as if nothing had happened. “I don’t want to give money to insurance companies,” he said. “They’ve been defrauding the public for years. Obamacare.”

The tonal effect of the heavy-handed policy followed only seemed to enhance the comedic moment, as White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt could be seen in the background of the pool shot trying to get the mysterious stowaway out of the restroom.
Leavitt was seen giggling with a Secret Service agent moments later.
Air Force One pranks are often high-risk exchanges in tight spaces, and unforeseen mishaps are not unheard of. However, it is rare for a bathroom door to be the star of the show and not have a presidential reaction.
Despite this disruption, Trump continued to field questions as the mysterious staff member was hiding in the restroom. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request to identify the person.
