While Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping were preparing for an upcoming meeting, a report claimed that Xi sent a ‘secret’ letter to President Droupadi Murmu in March.
Prime Minister Modi will be in China at the invitation of President XI to attend the SCO summit after completing his two -day visit to Japan. Meanwhile, the Bloomberg report referred to an Indian official who shared an anonymous information about the letter.

The letter ‘secret’ in the Bloomberg report was actually a routine protocol message that changed between senior leaders on national days.

The two leaders would have a bilateral meeting between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin on Sunday.
