Siena has naturally dark-brown, medium-density hair that hadn’t been cut in several months. She said it was feeling unmanageable and shapeless and wanted more layers and body while maintaining some length.

I started by cleansing her hair with Oribe Signature Shampoo and conditionerthen layered the mid-lengths and ends with Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream for added hydration. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and eliminated two inches from her length, creating a diagonal back shape to form bouncy face-framing layers. I incorporated round layers through the back for added body and movement and so that when she wears in naturally wavy, it will dry effortlessly.

Before styling, I applied some KMS Styling Foamfor long lasting style and hold, then blow dried her hair with a round brush. To finish her style, I sprayed Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray to her root for invisible body and texture.

Makeup:

I kept Siena’s makeup very fresh and simple. I started by evening out her complexion with a light application of a sheer foundation. I dusted on a little bronzer and used a pink cream blush to brighten her cheeks. On her eyes, I used a cream shadow pencil in a soft metallic-bronze tone and finished the look with a sheer lip gloss.
