The devices were donated by N Virat from Tirupati. He formally handed over the hearing aids to TTD Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal at the administrative building.

TTD, which is in charge of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, runs the Sravanam project to provide audiological services, therapy and support to hearing impaired young children.
“Virat of Tirupati donated 105 hearing aids worth Rs 20 lakh to TTD on Monday. He handed over the hearing aids to TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal,” the temple body said in an official statement.

Hearing aids will be distributed to children who complete their structured training within the scope of the Sravanam project.

According to the statement, the devices are expected to help ensure that children do not encounter hearing-related problems after rehabilitation.
