Stalin hands over assistance to four children from Kallakurichi district

Following his assurance that his government would help four children in Kallakurichi district who lost their only surviving parent last month, Chief Minister MK Stalin handed over relief measures to them at the Secretariat in Chennai on Monday.
Mr. Stalin handed over to the children a housing patta worth ₹ 2.5 lakh, an allotment of housing to be built at ₹ 3.55 lakh under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme. He also ordered an appointment for a computer assistant job for one of them and also issued orders approving assistance for two children. Anbukkarangal attempt.
Under Anbukkarangal Under the initiative, each of the children will be given financial assistance of ₹2,000 per month. The CM also distributed aid worth ₹6,000 for another child to get vocational training. Mr. Stalin, in a social media post, said that the DMK government will stand by children in their coming into their lives.
Impressed by a report on the plight of four children in Kallakurichi district who had recently lost their only surviving parent, Mr. Stalin had last month directed a Minister and officials to fulfill all requirements. He also spoke to the children over the phone and assured them of his government’s full support.
Mr. Stalin said, “These four children will be the children of this government from now on. The government will protect their future.” Minister EV Velu visited the children and provided financial assistance for their urgent needs.
At another event, the CM virtually unveiled the foundation stone for construction of 23 mini sports stadiums in many Assembly constituencies across the State at a total cost of ₹ 69 crore.
Mr. Stalin actually opened infrastructure facilities at Thengapattanam fishing port in Kanniyakumari district, Tharangampadi fishing port in Mayiladuthurai district and Kadana in Tenkasi district at a total cost of ₹98 crore.
Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin, Anitha R. Radhakrishnan, Ministers Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and TRB Rajaa, Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam and senior officials were also present during these events at the Secretariat.
