Teenage girl dies in hit-and-run, police hunt for ute
A teenage girl has died in a late-night hit-and-run incident in Moreton Bay.
The 17-year-old was hit by a white ute in Margate, Redcliffe, at around 11.27pm on Monday.
Officers performed CPR, but the girl died at the scene.

Police believe the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the crash.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the hit-and-run.
Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the Mabel Street and Margate Parade area is asked to contact police.
The crash scene is less than an hour’s drive from the Brisbane CBD.
