Two Horses Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run on Balapur Road; Police Rescue Animals

Hyderabad: Two horses were seriously injured when an unidentified four-wheeler hit them on the Balapur-Venkatpur road on Saturday night. They were rescued by Balapur police and volunteers of Animal Protection Abhaya (PFA Abhaya).

When the horses hit the road, the vehicle hit them and drove away. Local people noticed the injured horses and informed the Balapur police, who rushed to the spot and called PFA Abhaya volunteers.

Authorities said the horses were being treated and efforts were continuing to find the animal owner. Police said no case has been registered as no complaint has been received from the homeowner so far.
