Good news for passengers! Indian Railways to soon launch first-ever Vande Bharat Sleeper train on THIS route

Newly sleeping tickets will be priced 10 to 15 percent higher than Rajdhani Express.

It will cover the train route in more than 11 hours up to 180 kilometers per hour and make it much faster than Rajdhani, which lasts 23 hours.

According to a statement on the official website of Vande Bharat, “Indian Railways introduces a travel period on a new night with the launch of Vande Bharat Sleeping Train in September 2025. Vande Bharat Tatlik Train Services aims to redefine with a new focus of long -distance travels, based on the success of this sleeping variant. While regular Vande Bharat trains appeal to day travelers with chair cars (CC), the new Vande Bharat Sleeper Express was built for journeys overnight. The train, which was built by BEML using developed ICF technology, is full of modern advantages below:

• CCTV cameras, LED screens, sensor -based automatic doors, advanced fire safety systems and announcement facilities
• Non-touching Bio-Diester toilets and Sensor Doors between the coaches
• Kavach Collision anti -system, coaches with special couples and climatic anti -climate features
• Flight -style coating, padded ergonomic docks, soft integrated lighting and redesigned staircases

How much will the ticket price be?

Newly sleeping tickets will be priced 10 to 15 percent higher than Rajdhani Express. Passengers can book the IRCTC website, Rail Connect application or authorized ticket meters. Vande Bharat Sleeper Express completed the trial time and now moved to Delhi’s Shakarpur for the next stage of preparations.
