Two killed in road accident near Belagavi

On August 28, 2025, two people were killed and at least nine injured when a private bus was overthrown near Belagavi. A man who died, a man and a woman has not yet been defined.

The private bus was going from Huballi to Pune when the turtle returned to the Badekolladmath Ghat near Hirebagewadi in Belagavi.

The driver lost control of the wheel and caused him to open the bus. The villagers and police rescued passengers. The wounded were admitted to Belagavi Regional Hospital. Police said there were 12 passengers on the bus.
