McDonald’s fans hit out at the Big Tasty – which isn’t so big after burger chain resized the menu favourite

McDonald’s fans have criticized Big Tasty for not being big enough after the fast food chain resized the fan-favourite.

Big Tasty is a promotional item, meaning it’s usually on the menu at certain times of the year.

However, a source said the burger is now priced at £6.29 instead of £7.19.

Meanwhile, if fans want the double Big Tasty meal, which includes two beef patties, they’ll have to shell out £9.49.

But foodies have been outraged after Kevin Cox, from Aylesbury, claimed punters were being ‘ripped off’.

He described his last visit to the chain with his wife as ‘a complete disappointment and heartbreak’, adding: ‘We bought our last Big Tasty ever.’

he said Sun: ‘I ask you to hold those responsible for this disgrace accountable and return Big Tasty to the public as it always was, not this hamburger excuse.’

People were sharing videos of themselves walking into Big Tasty on social media with captions like: ‘McDonald’s thought we wouldn’t notice.’

People took to social media to express their anger at Big Tasty’s latest change

‘Big delicious’ is now small delicious with no bacon option. You’ve already changed the sauce for much worse, but it’s not even luxury size anymore.’
