Two terrorists killed in failed infiltration bid in J&K’s Kupwara

Two unidentified terrorists were killed when the Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
The army’s Srinagar-based Chinar Corps said an operation was launched on Friday, November 7, based on specific intelligence inputs from agencies about the attempt to infiltrate Kupwara’s Keran sector.
“Alert units detected suspicious activity and intervened, which led to terrorists opening indiscriminate fire,” the military said in a post on channel X. he said.
The statement said, “Two terrorists were neutralized by the security forces during the ongoing operation. Search efforts continue in the region.”
