Two-tonne stolen Land Rover reverses over pursuing police car | News

A stolen Land Rover Defender flipped over a police car with two police officers sitting inside.
During a late-night patrol in Barnet, London, on January 24, officers tracked down the car matching the description of a nearby stolen vehicle.
The suspect turned into a narrow road and stopped suddenly, then sped the two-ton Defender over the hood of the police car, crushing the roof and shattering the windshield.
The Land Rover rolled onto its side and the driver fled the scene. After a short chase, the suspect was caught by shock and taken into custody.
