U.S. military strike kills three drug traffickers in Caribbean

The US military conducted an operation targeting suspected drug traffickers in the Caribbean, killing three people, United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) announced on Friday.

On Friday, February 13, 2026, U.S. Southern Command conducted a deadly attack targeting a ship operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization. (Southcom via X)
The joint command added in the post: “Intelligence confirmed that the ship transited known drug trafficking routes in the Caribbean and was involved in drug trafficking operations.”
The joint command said three narco-terrorists were killed during the operation.
The command added that no US military personnel were harmed in the operation.
