British Ambassador of British, convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, deeply regretted meeting and said that he “continued longer than I had to do.”
Peter Mandelson, a senior working politician, a key to the success of the party’s former leader Tony Blair, began to examine his relationship with Epstein after a letter of a birthday book, including a letter that describes Epstein as a “best friend” of Epstein.
In an interview with the Sun newspaper of Britain, Mandelson said, “These people felt a deep sense of sympathy for women who suffer from their behavior and illegal crime activities”.
Describing Epstein as a “charismatic criminal liar”, “I just continued the association, but I also continued the association, and I got my lies nominal value.” He said.
The release of the document and the release of Epstein, who died in prison in 2019, drew attention to a issue that affected others, including US President Donald Trump and British prince Andrew.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer gave Mandelson his support after the revelation, this week, the spokesman of the Ambassador this week, said the Ambassador played a key role in strengthening trade with the United States.
When he was appointed at the end of 2024, Mandelson was the first political appointment as the Ambassador of the United States in almost half a century, and he once pointed out a high -profile return for a man called the “Prince of Darkness” by the media for the maneuver of the old working administrations.
There is no stranger to the discussion, he was forced from the cabinet on separate scandals twice, but in the Sun interview, Him and others were taken by Epstein.
“I regret that I fell for the lies, I accepted the guarantees I fell to me about the indictment.” He said.
“With Gez, years later, with new information, we noticed that we were wrong to believe in him … I really regret it, I felt like an albatross around my neck since his death.”
Mandelson said to see Epstein’s birthday comments: “I find it very embarrassing to see and read them, but they were written before being accused.”
