UK, Australia to ink new AUKUS deal amid US uncertainty

Britain will sign a 50 -year dual Aukus agreement with Australia during the Ministry negotiations in Sydney, because we continue to participate in the US Submarine Project.

Foreign Minister David Lammy and Defense Secretary John Healey will meet his Australian colleagues Penny Wong and Richard Marles at the annual Australian-England meeting or Aukmin in Sydney.

They will then go to Melbourne to meet the businesses in the Aukus submarine program.

They will also visit Darwin as the British carrier Strike group docks in the Northern Region.

The AUKUS partnership between the UK, the United States and Australia includes building nuclear -energy attack submarines, including the acquisition of Australia’s first fleet, and cooperates in other defense areas.

In 2021, it was decided by three countries, but the Trump administration increased fears that it could go out by reviewing it.

The agreement, which is now signed by the UK and Australia, demonstrates the dual aspects of the partnership and how the two countries will work together to present the AUKUS submarine program in the next half century.

“Aukus, one of the most important defense partnerships in England, strengthens global security while encouraging growth at home.” He said.

He continued: “This historical treaty confirmed our commitment for the next half century.”

The Minister said that people will benefit from the jobs provided through a “not born” agreement.

More than 21,000 people in the UK are expected to work on the program at the summit.

Lammy said that the UK-Avustralian relationship was “nothing else”.

“In our increasingly changing and dangerous world, our friendship has a real impact on the protection of global peace and prosperity,” he said.

“The new duo AUKUS Treaty is a concreteized – this is a free and open Indian -Pacific while catalyzing growth for both our countries.”
