UK embraces Trump with royal pomp in state visit
US President Donald Trump, King Charles and other royal people have met the closest ally of their countries, as well as his wife’s unprecedented POMP, intensive security, technology investments and protests launched a second historical visit to England.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the government strengthens the “special relationship” of the two countries, to deepen economic ties, to secure billions of dollars investment, to discuss tariffs and to press Trump on Ukraine and Israel.
Companies, including Microsoft, NVIDIA, Google and Openai, have promised 31 billion pounds ($ A63 billion) in the UK investments in AI, quantum information processing and civilian nuclear energy in the next few years.
Starmer also requires further progress in trade after the British has achieved the first agreement with Trump to drop some tariffs.

A letter sent to Queen Victoria from President Abraham Lincoln in 1862 expressed condolences after the death of Prince Albert, defined as a “descriptive” in the special relationship between England and the United States.
