OpenAI CEO tells Federal Reserve confab that entire job categories will disappear due to AI | Sam Altman

Openai’s General Manager Sam Altman drew a comprehensive vision of a future, where all business categories disappeared, followed the suggestions of the presidents Chatgpt and uses artificial intelligence to position the company as an unidentified architect of the technological destiny of humanity.
Speaking at the Capital Framework for the Great Banks Conference on the Federal Reserve Governors Board, Altman said the crowd would be completely eliminated by AI progress of some business categories.
“Some fields, again, I think it’s completely gone,” he said, choosing customer support roles. “This is just a category I say, you know what it is, when you say customer support, you are in target and artificial intelligence and this is good.”
Openai founder fully explained the full transformation of customer service, Michelle Bowman, Vice President of the Federal Reserve Supervisor: “Now you call one of these things and AI answers. There is no super -smart, talented person. There is no transmission.
Openai founder then returned to health care, and suggested that AI’s diagnostic abilities exceeded human doctors, but would not go forward enough to accept the superior artist as the sole supplier of health services.
“Today, Chatgpt, by the way, can often give you better – like a better diagnostic than most doctors in the world,” he said. “Nevertheless, people are still going to doctors, and I’m not a dinosaur here, but I don’t want to entrust my medical fate to Chatgpt without any human doctor in the cycle.”
His visit to Washington is compatible with the fact that the Trump administration focuses on defining and facilitating some regulations and promoting more data center. Altman’s last participation is with the federal government under the direction of Donald Trump, who received a new melody compared to the past years. Although many things have changed with technology over the years, Openai and his rivals under the leading of Biden asked the government to organize AI. In the meantime, under Trump, they are talking about accelerating to defeat China.
Fireside said in his conversation that one of his biggest concerns is on AI’s rapidly advancing destructive abilities and that he was a scenario that makes it an hostile nation using these weapons to attack the US financial system at night. And although he admired the progress in sound cloning, he warned the altman crowd about how the same benefit can provide sophisticated fraud and identity theft, and said, “There are still some financial institutions that will accept voice as authentication”.
After the bulletin promotion
Openai and Altman are already on their big pivots to Washington, and they are trying to collapse a party where Elon Musk once held a gold ticket. In addition to planning to open his company’s first office in Washington, Altman has met the Senate Trade Committee for the first congress statement that has pushed him to the global scene since his high -profile appearance in May 2023.
