UK Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel to parts of Pakistan after US hotel security alert

After a US security warning reported a threat to high -level hotels in Karachi, the UK Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommended it to Pakistan’s regions except for important travels.
The United States Embassy in Islamabad issued a travel consultancy.
“The US General in Karachi was temporarily limited by these hotels of official US government personnel.”

FDCO announced that there is some risk of violence, including the government’s government offices.

Visit travelers are told to travel “careful ve and receive advice from homeowners or reliable people, monitor the instructions from law enforcement officers and be ready to cancel or cut your plans.
