UK map shows all 38 Brewdog pubs closing after chain goes into administration | UK | News

Hundreds of jobs were made redundant and dozens of pubs closed after craft beer company Brewdog went into administration. The company was acquired by American firm Tilray in a £33 million deal. Tilray will assume the company’s brand, brewing operations and 11 pubs.
A total of 38 BrewDog bars will close, including nine in London, nine in Scotland and the DogHouse hotel in Manchester. Now you can use our interactive map to see which sites will have search time and which will remain open.
Brewdog announced last month that they brought in consultant AlixPartners after the company failed to make a profit in recent years. They were appointed administrators on Monday.
AlixPartners said there was “significant interest” in Brewdog but no offers had been received that would protect the company in its entirety.
“Unfortunately, a total of 38 pubs in the UK will close with immediate effect, leading to 484 redundancies,” the executives said.
Unite, which represents thousands of hospitality workers, said it was a “devastating day” and vowed to secure “legal and financial justice” for its members.
Sharon Graham, the union’s general secretary, added: “BrewDog workers created this brand. They deserved respect. Instead, they were treated like disposable pawns.”
