The UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to visit India for two days from 8 October at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) announced the visit of the British Prime Minister on Saturday. This will be Prime Minister Starmer’s first official visit to India.

India-UK FTA was signed in the presence of PM Modi and Keir Starmer and provided more access to goods and services between the two countries.
In addition, the Ministry of Fisheries, Livestock and Milkism, according to the ANI, was officialized in the presence of the agreement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and the Minister of Indian Trade and Industry was signed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Puussh Goyal and the United Kingdom Business Minister Jonathan Reynolds.
PM Modi’s meeting with Starmer
Prime Minister Modi met the British Prime Minister at the residence of the second of the Checkers in Buckinghashire, held by the two leaders.
While the leaders significantly increased bilateral trade, investment, economic cooperation and creation in both economies, they welcomed the signing of the Historical India-England-Kapsamlı Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), which raised a comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level.
