UK sees highest temperature of the year, snow and blood rain all in the last 48hrs

This weekend looks very mixed. Scotland and Northern Ireland will have some sunny and beautiful days on Saturday. After a cold and frosty start for some, the afternoon sun must be quite pleasant. It will be even cloudier on Sunday, with sunshine best in northern areas.
England and Wales will have a mostly cloudy weekend, with some rain on Saturday and the chance of mist and fog until Sunday morning.
The cloud is expected to break over south-east England on Sunday afternoon, revealing some sunshine.
Temperatures this weekend will range between 11-14C, but on Sunday any sunshine in the south-east could reach 18C.
Next week looks much more uneasy due to the rains and it will also be windy at times. The rainiest and windiest weather will be experienced in the western regions.
It will get colder throughout the week, and by the end of the week we could even see hills of snow falling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Northern England and perhaps Wales.
