T20 World Cup 2026 Likely to be Held from February 7 to March 8
New Delhi: According to Espncricinfo, the 2026 T20 World Cup, which will be a common host of India and Sri Lanka, will be a joint host of 20 teams.
Matches are expected to be held in five places: three in India and two in Sri Lanka. The final will be held in Ahmedabad or Colombo, depending on the quality of Pakistan. India and Pakistan do not play on each other’s territory due to tense political relations between the two countries.
After refusing to go to Pakistan in the Indian Champions Cup, a policy was adopted by both countries to solve the issue. Pakistan and India will not exceed the border to compete in the ICC tournament for the next three years.
