Trump’s Calculated Strike: Biggest Blow To Islamic Terrorism Or Africa’s Oil Grab? | DNA Analysis | World News

US President Donald Trump is systematically hunting down Islamist terrorists, and his latest attack in Nigeria reveals a game plan much bigger than just fighting terrorism.

Trump vowed on December 17 to eradicate Islamic terrorism from its roots. He has already destroyed his second target in just nine days. The new chapter of America’s war against terrorism, after Syria, was broadcast in Nigeria this time.

The US Navy and Air Force conducted a joint operation targeting Islamic State militants in Nigeria. More than 20 terrorists affiliated with ISIS and affiliated groups have been killed and a large weapons cache destroyed, according to the Pentagon. The Nigerian government confirmed that its military provided location intelligence of the American attack.

This marks Trump’s second major crackdown on Islamic terrorism in a month. On December 19, the US Air Force bombed ISIS positions in eastern Syria. Now, just seven days later, on December 26, Trump’s second action was taken.

But Trump’s messages are intentional. “Today, on my orders, US forces destroyed terrorists who were killing innocent Christians in Nigeria,” he wrote on the Truth Social platform.

By attributing the attack to protecting Christians, Trump is sending a clear signal that this is a religious crusade to save the Christian community in Nigeria. So is Trump really waging a holy war, or is there something more calculated behind these attacks?

The Sad Truth in Nigeria

For the last 16 years, Islamic State and Boko Haram terrorists have been systematically targeting Christians in Nigeria. More than 53,000 Christians were killed. Nearly 20,000 churches and cemeteries were destroyed. Approximately 16 million Christians were displaced. The United Nations has identified Nigeria as of particular concern.

So Why Now?

This massacre of Christians has been going on since 2009, so why has Trump suddenly started to sympathize with Nigerian Christians? Answer: Trump kills multiple birds with one stone.

Trump’s Four Point Strategy:

FirstHe is courting America’s huge Christian vote bank by positioning himself as their protector.

SecondIt appeals to African-American voters with roots in Nigeria and other African countries.

ThirdSecuring access to Nigeria’s oil and rare earth minerals, resources that America desperately needs.

FourthReestablishing American dominance in Africa.

Strategic experts believe that the real reason why Trump suddenly remembered Nigeria is because of Africa’s influence. America once had a military presence in many African countries. However, after 2020, African countries changed rapidly, establishing economic ties with China and strategic partnerships with Russia. Conclusion? NATO and America’s influence in this region has fallen to almost zero.

Trump’s attacks are not just about terrorism. They’re about reclaiming lost territory, securing resources, and sending a message: Whether through cruise missiles or strategic partnerships, America is back in Africa. The question remains: Will Putin and Xi Jinping allow Trump to succeed?
