UK weather: First heatwave of 2025 likely as temperatures surge above 30C

Hot weather will focus on Monday and Tuesday before spreading to Midlands, East Wales and North England at the weekend.
We will reach 26C on Monday, on Wednesday, the heat becomes much more common with a height of 28C, and the hot spots on the weekend rise between 30-33c.
Meanwhile, later on the week, it will be warmer in Northern Ireland and Scotland, but here will mostly be more comfortable with temperatures at low 20Cs.
On Sunday, things become more uncertain, and we can see that fresh air moves with the risk of thunder from the Atlantic.
However, some models keep heat longer in Eastern Anglia and Southeastern England for longer, and temperatures remain above the 30C sign.
