Ukrainian drone attack sparks fire, evacuations in Russia’s Rostov, regional governor says

(Reuters)-A fire-made Ukrainian drons, the southern-Russian city Rostov-on-Don, a fire on the roof of an apartment building, and the Governor of the Rostov Yuri Slyusar played early on Wednesday.

“Most importantly, nobody was injured,” Slyusar Telegram said in the messaging application that the fire immediately contains.

Slyusar said previously destroyed 10 Ukrainian drones in three different parts of the Rostov region of Russian anti -rods.

Reuters could not confirm the reports independently. There was no immediate comment from Ukraine. In recent months, Kyiv, which intensified his strikes in Russia, said that his attacks responded to Moscow’s ongoing strikes in Ukraine.

Both sides refused to target civilians in the battle of Russia in February 2022 with full -scale invasion in Ukraine.
