Row over Vishu poster showing Lord Krishna and chicken mandi prompts probe in Kerala’s Malappuram too

In Kerala, the controversy over the Vishu greeting depicting a young Lord Krishna next to the chicken mandi in a social media promotional poster of a restaurant in Cherthala in Alappuzha district has now reached Malappuram and the police have launched an investigation into the allegations against several restaurants in Edakkara and Kottakkal.

BJP district committee member Aji Thomas filed a complaint against the owners of two restaurants in Edakkara after Vishu greeting posters circulating on social media showed Lord Krishna next to Mandi.
