The judge in Harvey Weinstein’s re-rape trial declared a mistrial on Friday.
The mistrial leaves the New York rape charge in limbo after three trials, while the former Hollywood mogul remains behind bars after being convicted of other sex crimes on both coasts of the US.
Jury deadlocked after debating whether Weinstein was raped Jessica Mann In 2013.
“After hearing testimony three separate times and two different juries failing to reach a unanimous verdict, perhaps it is time for the District Attorney to stop trying the same case again and focus resources on the real crimes that impact New Yorkers every day,” a spokesperson for Weinstein told Fox News Digital.
