Union Minister Calls For Completion Of Pending Railway Projects Expeditiously

Vijayawada: Union minister of state for heavy industries and steel Bhupathi Raju Srinivasa Varma called for speedy completion of many pending railway projects.
The Union minister met Vijayawada railway division director Mohith Sonakiya at the DRM office here on Friday and discussed at length the progress of several pending railway projects. He asked about the reasons for the delay in starting the Narasapuram-Kotipalli railway line works and also the current status of the Narasapuram-Machilipatnam railway line works and discussed the progress of development works at Bhimavaram, Narasapuram and Tadepaligudem railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Programme.
He called for Vande Bharat and the need to discontinue many express trains at Tadepalligudem to be brought to the notice of senior railway officials and assured the central government that it will make efforts to get support for the development of the Vijayawada railway division and also take up pending railway projects expeditiously.
