BBC News, Bedfordshire
Universal Targets and Experiments/ComcastThe company said the new Universal Studios Tema Park, which will be built in the UK, may contain the longest driving in Europe.
Universal asked for planning permission For a new place in Bedford through a special development order (SDO), which allows the government to directly approve the project and skip standard local planning procedures.
In the new planning documents, the company said that it can build buildings reaching 377FT (115m) with driving in the park.
“The reason for proposing structures up to this maximum height is to allow the proposed theme park to compete with other attraction centers in Europe.” He said.
“Although Evrensel Orlando Resort is currently not there are centers of attraction to this height, longer attraction centers in Europe are more common, which should be longer to create experience because the area is more limited.
He continued: “Creating centers of attraction rather than larger areas, using the land in accordance with the planning policy in the best way.”
The longest driving in the UK is 236FT (72m) in Thorpe Park, Hyperia, the longest in Europe, 367FT (112m) in Portaventura World in Spain.
Plans explain that most structures in the park will range from 20m to 30m and some longer structures will form a silhouette with “visual interest”.

Park is waiting to receive 8.5 million visitors annually with 55,000 visitors on the summit days.
While the guests coming to the park by car will pass through a wooded boulevard, those who use public transport will access the facility through a transport center.
From there, visitors will reach the entrance plaza with restaurants, shops and entertainment venues of the site.
These can be accessed and used by both tickets and non -tickets.
Payment guests then pass under a large belt and enter the center of attraction.
The documents explain that the guests once in the facility will experience “adrenaline pumping cups”, “gorgeous gorgeous” and “incredible creatures, heroes and bad guys”.
“Great dishes, new laughter, new ways of playing, and just immersive worlds they will step into the immersive worlds.” He said.
Plans also include parking for more than 7,000 cars and additional areas for people to come by rams and bicycles.
It also includes a new intersection in A421 and a proposal to build four expanded platform stations at the Wixams station on Thameslink.
In addition, there will be a new foot bridge on the runways at the station to allow people to walk from Wixams to the site or ride a bike.
More active travel routes will allow visitors to reach the site in Kempston Hardwick from the Interchange West Retail Park in Bedford.
The park mostly hopes to obtain planning permission to be opened on time for 2031, which is mostly intended to hire 8,500 personnel from the local region.
By 2051, the amount of employees is expected to increase to 10,000.
PA MediaThese planning documents, which are submitted to the Ministry of Housing, Community and Local Government (MHCLG), are publicly explained as part of the advisory process.
The Advisory ends on August 31st, at this point, MHCLG will review and decide.
If SDO is given, it can apply certain conditions to construction and operating stages, which requires continuous monitoring.
Universal refused to comment on the characteristics of planning documents, but encouraged people to send feedback to MHCLG.
