‘Unprepared’ hikers rescued after bushwalker dies

A Bushwalker died and others were rescued from the distant wild nature after an unprepared march for excessive weather conditions.
Tasmania police said that a group of Chinese citizens who visited Tasmania suffered from the cold and another group of hikers had other difficulties when they found them in Cradle Mountain in the afternoon.
The second group contacted emergency services, but prevented excessive air officials from using helicopters in the region.
The savior went to find them on foot and set up with a group overnight until they came back on Saturday morning.
A woman died. Others were not physically injured.
Tasmania Police Inspector Steve Jones said that the hikers do not have suitable equipment, including a personal finder sign, so they could not raise the alarm.
“Unfortunately, they were not prepared for Bushwalking and found themselves overwhelmed by extreme weather conditions,” he said.
“The atmosphere of Tasmania can change very quickly, especially in the Alpine areas.
“This means that when we can’t deploy the helicopter, there are such times and that a ground search and rescue team take time to enter remote areas.”
Bushwalkers in Tasmanya Wilderess are always asked to carry hot clothes, food, water, a charged phone, a map, emergency communication devices and other equipment.
