Upasana Kamineni Konidela Named Co-Chair of Telangana Sports Hub Board

In a major coercion to develop a first -class sports ecosystem in TaLANgana, the State Government established the Governor’s Office in 2025 for the Telangana Sports Center in 2025. The movement is compatible with the vision of Prime Minister Revanth Redy’s vision to promote base abilities, transparency and perfection in sports without political interaction.
In a remarkable appointment, UPASana Kamineni Kaminela, Vice President and General Manager of UR LIFE in Apollo hospitals, was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors. Upasana, a careful health advocate and entrepreneur, has pioneered several youth and fitness -oriented initiatives, and its involvement points to the government’s commitment to integrating the welfare of the government into sports development.
The leadership is expected to shape the focus of the Board on sports training, sustainable infrastructure and welfare -oriented policies. Authorities say that the appointment brings valuable private sector insight and experience to the growing sports ecosystem of the state.
TaLangana Sports Hub aims to operate through public-private partnerships (PPP) by encouraging the participation of well-known companies and sports professionals. The newly established Board will also supervise the TELANGANA Sports Development Fund (TSDF) to ensure the transparent and efficient use of resources.
The initiative points to an important milestone in TaLangana’s effort to emerge as a national and international sports power plant, and focus areas from talent identity to world -class education and infrastructure.
